Experience and Estimates
At Behar Fingal we believe that experienced professionals, knowing all the pertinent details, should be able to accurately estimate the cost of a project. Our estimates are clear and on target. We don’t “nickel and dime” our clients over reasonable changes in a project. We enjoy surprising our clients with the results of our ideas and talent — not our invoices.
Harold Behar is a principal in the advertising and marketing firm, Behar Fingal, located on Pittsburgh’s North Side. His expertise lies in the areas of identity creation and brand management.
While he holds an AD in Visual Communication from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, he is mostly self taught, having wanted to be in advertising since he was 12 and discovered the breakthrough Volkswagen Beetle print campaign created by Doyle Dane Bernbach. His work is influenced by current trends in media culture as well as the fine arts.
He believes if you possess a talent then you should give something back to your community. In addition to the pro bono work created by Behar Fingal, he is currently Vice President of the Board for The ToonSeum. He has previously served on numerous other non-profit boards and the design committee of the South Side Local Development Company. He lives in a Pittsburgh four square with his wife and two sons in Mount Lebanon, PA.
Scott Fingal is a graduate of La Roche College and brings more than 20 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, web design, commercial printing and customer service to every project. A lifelong Pittsburgher and a huge Penguins and Steelers fan, Scott’s love for his hometown is reflected in his many interests and volunteer activities. A black belt in judo, he helped found, and run, a judo program for at-risk youth. Presently he volunteers at the Squirrel Hill Community Food Pantry.
Scott enjoys music, both listening to, and playing the guitar and mandolin and the outdoors especially fly fishing and mountain biking. He can be found almost daily in Frick Park with his dog, on his mountain bike, or running. (He recently completed his THIRD half-marathon and has delusions of running a full marathon one day.)
